We won the 2019 Soldier On Awards Business of the Year Community Impact Award

I cannot believe that we won……..

As many of you know I have spent some time over the last few years training wounded and injured servicemen and women to keep bees, helping them with mental and physical injuries resulting from military service.

I was humbled to be nominated, amazed to be named as a finalist and ecstatic that I actually won. I should pay tribute to the other finalists in my category who are all amazing and I spent a thoroughly enjoyable evening talking to James from the Afghan Rug Company and Adam from Taylored Games both top blokes and equally deserving of this award.

Thank you so much to Ren Kapur and Martin Wing from X Forces who have both motivated and inspired me in establishing running Sinah Common Honey. Also to Paul Randall, Yvonne Bendle, Amy Howard, Debbie Boundy, Jess Frost, Ed Sharman and Vicki Johnson at Help For Heroes. To Debbie Mulkern at New Forest Aromatics and of course to my beautiful wife and family for their ongoing support.

Lastly I want to mention the brave and amazing wounded and injured service personnel who have attended these courses; you are all inspiring people whose sum is greater than your parts.
